Agreement

The information in these Terms and Conditions is based on the verbal agreement between you and the Agency. If there is any discrepancy, please call us immediately.

Confidentiality

The information you supply to us is completely confidential.

3.

Agency's Service Fee

(a). There is an Agency's Service fee of $50 (Apply to those is less than 4 lessons only. For example: Python, C++ programming, Accounting related subjects)
When you have agreed then requested the Agency to start working on the search for suitable a tutor and / or teacher. This is to ensure that the both sides are committed.
If any unforeseen problem due to the tutor, we will replace the tutor immediately. This Service is completed after two months of tutoring services by the tutor and/ or teacher.

4.

Payment of Commission (Deduct from Tutor's Tuition Fee)

Prior to confirmation of tuition assignment, clients (parents / students) are required to make an advanced payment of the first 2 lessons to Stanford Tuition. This is the Agency's commission.
If you require a Bill Collector to collect the Fees, you have to pay an Additional Fee of $30 for transportation and manpower.

For online tuition payment, it can be done after each lesson. In some cases, parents prefer to pay 4 lessons in advance is acceptable.

Payment can be made by:
(a) ATM Fund Transfers
(b) Internet Fund Transfers
(c) Cheque
(d) Cash Deposit @ ATM machine (POSB or DBS- ATM).
(e) Cash pays at POSB or DBS counter.
(f) Mobile payment: PayNow or PayLah.
(g) If you require a Bill Collector to collect the Fees, there is an Additional Fee of $30.

The remaining 50% of the tuition fees is to be paid directly to the tutor at the end of the 4th lesson or (8th lesson for two lessons per week). For all subsequent 4 weeks, you pay the tutor 100% of the tuition fees.

Tutor's qualification

Please view the Tutor's highest qualification during the first lesson. This is to avoid from making the wrong judgment. All tutors are time based, therefore no free trail lesson. (i.e.: One lesson completed, you pay one lesson).

Replacement of Tutor

If for any reason you wish to replace the tutor, you can call: 6962-1165 for the replacement. If it is within the 1st month, parent will have to pay the pro-rated tuition fees based on the number of lessons conducted. You will pay 50% of the pro-rated fees to Tutor & 50% of the pro-rated fees to our Agency.

7.

Un-reasonable Termination of Agreed Tuition Services

If for any reason you wish to terminate the tuition services before the first 4 lessons once per week or (8 lessons for 2 lessons per week), you have to pay an Administration Fee of S$50.

8.

Record the Time 'in and out'

Keep a Record the time 'in and out' in a booklet for the Tutor to sign. This is to avoid miss calculation. It happened in many cases and end up in disputes.

9.

Disputes

Disputes between parents/students and tutor are rare. However, we will use our goodwill offices to help resolve any disputes that may arise. We can't make any guarantees, but we will do our best to resolve the dispute.

10.

Duration of Each Lesson

a.

Most tuition duration is either 1.5 or 2 hours per lesson except for Special Request for 2.5 hours per lesson.
Fee base on 1.5 to 2.5 hours for home visit lesson. If you ask 1 hour you still need to pay 1.5hr fee for home visit.
Note: For Pre-school & Dyslexic students, they can take either 1 or 1.5 hour per lesson but all charges and fee base on 1.5 hour for home visit / home tuition only.

b.

Online Tuition: Most online tuition duration is either 1.5 or 2 hours per lesson. If you ask 1 hour you still need to pay 1.5hr fee.
Alternatively, You pay one time $50 for the Agency Service Fee.
