2020 A-level results: 93.6% get at least 3 passes.

A total of 11,646 students sat the examinations in 2020, with 10,905 candidates or 93.6% receiving at least three H2 passes, including a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry, said the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).
This performance is an improvement from the previous record of 93.4% achieved by the 2019 and 93.3% set in by the 2018 batch.

2019 A-level results: 93.4% get at least 3 passes.

A total of 12,405 students who took the examinations as school candidates, 11,583 students or 93.4% achieved at least three H2 passes and a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry, the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) said on Friday (Feb 21, 2020).
The rate is a 0.1% point improvement on the 93.3% rate achieved by the 2018 cohort.

2018 A-level results: 93.3% get at least 3 passes.

A total of 13,042 students who took the examinations as school candidates, 12,170 students or 93.3% achieved at least three H2 passes and a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry, the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) said on Friday (Feb 22).
The rate is a 0.3% point improvement on the 93% rate achieved by the 2017 cohort.

2017 GCE A-level has 93% get at least 3 Passes.

A total of 12,502 students sat for the 2017 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) Examination as school candidates. 11,624 or 93%, received at least three H2 passes, with a pass in General Paper (GP) or Knowledge and Inquiry (KI) on Friday (Feb 23).
Last year 2017,  passing rate of 93%, an improved on the 92.6% achieved by the 2016 cohort. Students in 2015 set the benchmark for the highest pass rate since the curriculum was revised in 2015, at 93.1%.
In a Facebook post on Friday morning, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong wished candidates waiting to hear how they did, "all the best".
"Whatever your results are, remember that this is just one step in your lifelong learning journey," he wrote.
"We are not only defined by result slips or certificates, but by what we achieve in life and what impact we make on those around us."

2016 GCE A-level has 92.6% Passes

A total of 12,538 students sat for the 2016 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) Examination as school candidates. 11,612 (92.6%), received at least three H2 passes, with a pass in General Paper (GP) or Knowledge and Inquiry (KI).

2015 GCE A-level has 93.1% Passes

A total of 13,582 students sat for the 2015 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) Examination as school candidates. 12,642 (93.1%), received at least three H2 passes, with a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry.

2014 GCE A-level has 91.4% Passes

In 2014 'GCE A-level' examinations were released on March 2015. As compared to the previous year, there is an increased of 0.2%. 
A total of 91.4% of the whole group get at least three H2 Passes with General Paper (GP) or Knowledge and Inquiry. In 2014, 'GCE A-level' results is the best on record under new system.

2013 GCE A-level has 91.2% Passes.

In 2013 'GCE A-level' examinations were released on March 2014. As compared to the previous year, there is an increased of 0.6%.

In Hwa Chong Institution (HCI), there were 5 pairs of twins receiving their 'A-level' results. One pair of twin prefers to take different subjects. One took Physics and Economics and the other took Biology and Geography. According to HCI, this year the results were best in 5 years that is above 60% obtain at least 3 distinctions.
In Raffles Institution (RI), this was the first time; they managed to have 10 perfect scorers with 9 distinctions. Most of the students who did well, also held leadership position in their respective co-curricular activities (CCA) and contributed to community services.
